Cooking Up Big Plans For AbBaltis

Last Thursday the entire AbBaltis team took a day out of the office to enjoy our first ever company conference.

Spending the day at the gorgeous Brogdale Farm, the AbBaltis family had an update from our MD Giedre who spoke about the company’s history, as well as discussing the big plans for the next 12 months.

“We’ve got some really exciting times ahead,” Giedre explained. “It has been nine years since I founded the business and we have come such a long way in that time, with further still to go the rest of this year. We’re just in the midst of finalising the logistics of our big move to our brand new premises; which will double the amount of space that we have giving us even more room to expand.”

After Giedre’s update, the team also had updates on Finances and Marketing, as well as hearing the announcement of the Employee of the Year.

After the conference part of the day was done, we then undertook a team activity – “the Great AbBaltis Bake Off” – where everyone paired off to bake their own apple pies using apples picked from the Brogdale Orchards. While the pies cooked the team were treated to a tour of the Orchards, before returning to judge each other’s baking efforts.
