Imogen enjoys working in an environment where every day is different, with new challenges to overcome and opportunities to make a positive difference to the team and the wider business.

With over 15 years of experience in protein purification from human tissues, Eugenia specialises in developing and optimising processes for protein purification from human plasma. Her focus on enhancing product quality, increasing yield, and shortening lead times has significantly contributed to our advancements in this field. As a dedicated team member, Eugenia actively collaborates to drive our company’s progress in protein purification. Her commitment to innovation and excellence makes her a valuable asset to our organisation.

Niki, our Key Account Manager, holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Microbiology. Bringing over five years of diverse lab experience along with a solid background in pharmaceutical sales, she blends her scientific knowledge with a dedication to client relations. Since joining AbBaltis in June 2023, Niki has focused on building lasting partnerships with our key clients, driving success within our dynamic team. She takes pride in contributing to the company's mission to improve patient outcomes, working closely with an energetic, positive, and kind team.

Debbie brings over 10 years of administration experience across industries including construction, mortgage and life insurance. As Global Shipping and Logistics Supervisor at AbBaltis, she maintains and updates the company's main stock system, liaises daily with all departments, especially the laboratory, and assists and manages the global shipping and logistics team. Debbie enjoys working in the in vitro diagnostics industry, where there's always something new to learn, and is proud to be part of such a close-knit team.

We welcomed Claudia to our team in October 2019, and she played a crucial role in securing our ISO:9001 certification while ensuring that all our equipment is regularly serviced and meets safety standards. Before joining us, she gained valuable experience working at various scientific companies across Kent. Claudia holds a PhD in Bioprocess Engineering, an MSc in Industrial Biotechnology, and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Bio-Verfahrenstechnik (Degree in Bioprocess Engineering). Claudia ensures that our lab is maintained to the utmost standard!

Megan joined AbBaltis in September 2022 and has been an integral part of the team ever since. She graduated from the University of Kent with a First-Class Honours degree in Biomedical Science and is currently furthering her expertise by pursuing a Master’s in Biomedicine. As the Lab Shipping Team Supervisor and Senior Lab Technician, Megan thrives on the variety her role offers and takes pride in completing tasks to the highest standard. Highly organised and dedicated, she is committed to delivering exceptional results and ensuring positive customer experiences. Her passion for excellence and attention to detail make her a valued member of the AbBaltis team.

Bel joined AbBaltis in October 2022 and has quickly become an invaluable member of the team. She holds a BSc in Medical Sciences from the University of Exeter and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Biomedicine at the University of Kent, alongside her colleague Megan. Since joining, Bel has gained expertise in international shipping and now takes the lead in training new recruits for the lab’s shipping team. Beyond her professional responsibilities, she organises company celebrations, bringing warmth and positivity to every event. Nicole holds a First Class BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Brunel University London, with lab experience spanning cancer research, gene therapy studies at Axovia Therapeutics and quality control at CooperVision, alongside a Senior Leader Apprenticeship at Canterbury Christ Church University. As Biobank Testing Manager at AbBaltis, she leads the Testing team, supports her team members' development, shapes testing strategy, and works with SAMs to progress sales opportunities while seeking new ways to improve testing efficiency and accuracy. Nicole values AbBaltis's support for professional development, including the completion of her Senior Leader Apprenticeship.

Cynthia is a highly skilled and experienced professional in the field of supply chain and logistics. Her track record of accomplishments is mainly focusing on optimising supply chain operations. She holds a master's degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the University of Liverpool. With over a decade of experience in air cargo logistics planning for the Taiwan and EMEA markets, Cynthia specializes in shipping sensitive products. She is seasoned in logistics management, procurement, customs compliance oversight, and implementing cost-saving strategies. Cynthia's skills and experience will immensely benefit AbBaltis, and she is excited to contribute to its success and support its growth objectives!

Mahshad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and a Master’s degree in Public Health from Norway. She began her career as a laboratory technician in the pharmaceutical industry, gaining hands-on experience in scientific operations. Her interest gradually shifted toward the strategic and creative aspects of healthcare, leading her to transition into pharmaceutical marketing. To deepen her expertise, she completed a second Master’s degree in Digital Marketing in London. As a Marketing Executive at Abbaltis, a global biotech company, Mahshad combines her scientific knowledge with digital marketing skills to support the company’s communications and engagement within the life sciences sector.

Martina is a driven professional with a degree in International Business and Management from the University of Kent. After completing her studies, she gained valuable experience during her internship, which led to a promotion as a Technical Sales Executive. Her expertise and dedication soon earned her the role of Sales Account Manager. Tanya started working part-time at AbBaltis in August 2022. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Kingston University and is aiming to complete her postgraduate studies within the next few years. Her tasks within the lab involve preparing for shipping and packing, by re-dispensing the required units. She additionally helps her colleagues in any other tasks. Biserka brings 21 years of experience across retail operations, administrative management and warehouse and fulfilment leadership, holding a bachelor's degree in social activities and a master's degree in financial management. As Global Shipping and Logistics Coordinator at AbBaltis, she tracks daily shipments and coordinates with labs, sales and customs to ensure timely clearance and delivery, prepares all shipping documentation, and maintains accurate customer and order data in Zoho. Chithara joined AbBaltis in May 2023 as Graduate Laboratory Technician. She recently graduated with a Masters degree in Pharmaceutical and Analytical Science. Carolina is a dedicated professional with a first-grade degree in Biomedical Science and experience in laboratory and sample processing environments. In her current role as laboratory technician, she is responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate processing of samples, supporting team members, and ensuring that quality and operational standards are consistently maintained.
