Huge congratulations to our Business Administration Apprentice Megan who was a finalist at the 2019 East Kent Apprenticeship Awards.
The awards, which took place on 7th March at The Yarrow Hotel in Broadstairs, celebrated outstanding apprentices throughout Kent.
Megan was nominated by AbBaltis as she has thrived in her role and really got to grips with her duties here since she started with us in October. Giedre elaborated: “Megan has swiftly become a valued part of our AbBaltis family. When I saw these awards I didn’t hesitate in nominating Megan as she has been brilliant and I thought she deserved to win an award. I think it is fantastic that awards like this exist, as apprentices are an incredibly valuable, but sometimes overlooked, part of the workforce. I am proud that AbBaltis is continually championing apprentices and apprenticeships.”
Megan spoke about how she felt upon hearing the news that she was shortlisted as a finalist: “It felt wonderful that Giedre and the team nominated me for this award and I was so happy to have been shortlisted. The awards themselves were a really fun night and the fact that I was shortlisted made me feel really good about what I am doing. I love being here at AbBaltis, and this was such a nice thing to happen.”
