AbBaltis: Champions of Exporting!

We are delighted to announce that our Managing Director Giedre has been named as one of the Department for International Trade’s first Export Champions in the South East.

Over the last eight years Giedre has grown AbBaltis into a thriving international exporter, with 95% of our custom coming from outside the UK.

Her appointment as one of South East England’s inaugural Export Champions reinforces that our business is recognised as a prime example of how exporting can benefit a business.

Giedre commented: “I was thrilled to be named as an Export Champion by the Department for International Trade. I would not have the business that I have today were it not for exporting, so I am extremely keen to encourage other companies to embrace the benefits that exporting can bring to their business.”

The Department for International Trade announced the Champions today with the tagline “If We Can, You Can.” Giedre feels this is entirely the right message to be sending. She explained: “Over the course of the last eight years I have met hundreds of business owners at events and seminars, and when conversing with them they are frequently taken aback by how much of our business comes from international trade. I think there is a misconception that exporting can be an arduous process, as people seem to find it daunting. I am very happy that the DIT are going out of their way to show that this is not the case.”
