This week marked World Suicide Prevention Day, an important reminder that we all have a role in fostering hope and supporting mental health.
Suicide prevention starts with open conversations, breaking the stigma around mental health struggles, and being there for one another. We can all help by recognising the warning signs, such as withdrawal, hopelessness, or drastic changes in behavior, and encouraging those who are struggling to seek help. Sometimes, simply checking in with a colleague or friend can make a huge difference.
At AbBaltis, we are committed to the well-being of our team, not just through internal policies but by actively offering free therapy sessions for our staff with EDIFY Counselling and Training and consistently speaking about mental health.
Every life is precious, and by creating a culture of compassion and support, we can work together to reduce the number of lives lost to suicide.
