Work Experience Opportunities At AbBaltis

We have recently been contacted by a number of students who were interested in undertaking some work experience here at AbBaltis. Due to the increase in queries, we wanted to give some information about the opportunities available here.

 

AbBaltis are committed to helping the next generation of scientists to thrive, by giving them opportunities to familiarise themselves with the world of work first-hand; and build up vital experience for their CVs. As such, we are pleased to try to accommodate requests for work experience where possible. However, it is important to bear in mind that as a SME we are limited to the amount of space and resource we can commit to providing work experience, and as such limit ourselves to one work experience placement at a time.

 

One recent work experience student gave us the following feedback: “Thank you so much for allowing me to complete some work experience in your labs. I have learnt so much about what lab work consists of. I really enjoyed using the microscope. The placement has opened my eyes to the possibility of working in a lab in the future. Thank you for this opportunity.”

 

Another student commented: “I just wanted to say thank you very much to you and everyone else at AbBaltis for the past two days. It was really interesting seeing professional labs and what a career working in one might be like, and I really appreciate the fact you gave up your time to help me and give me tasks to do.”
