Business Development Assistant

Description of Duties

  • Providing assistance to Marketing Manager
  • Creating ‘featured product’ information for website
  • Liaise with Scientists in-house and at external organisations
  • Support the management team in shaping company’s marketing strategy
  • Create product lists for the E-commerce site
  • Design promotion leaflets, product inserts and other marketing related literature
  • Liaise with the local chamber of commerce to produce export documents
  • Research trade show catalogues to identify new prospects. Reach out to potential new customers through phone and emails
  • Create newsletter mailing lists and send out paper newsletters
  • Assist Sales Team with various sales activities
  • Ensure excellent service is provided to Customers
  • Update Customer database (Workbooks) in an accurate and timely manner
  • Enter data into the CRM system
  • Finding data for customers
  • Assist with preparation of quotes
  • Following up pending orders
  • Collating product information
  • Managing and updating spreadsheets
  • Filing, scanning and photocopying documents
  • Office support activities such as taking telephone calls and general office duties
  • Other duties as assigned by Line Manager
